Pokemon Japan: 1999-2000 Neo Premium Files Complete Set of 3

Neo Premium File 1 was released in December 1999 and featured all Generation II starter Pokémon and their evolutions. Meganium, Typhlosion, and Feraligatr were the holofoil cards in this set.

Neo Premium File 2 was first released in July 2000 and was initially sold at screenings of Pokémon the Movie 3: Spell of the Unown – Entei. It became available at retail in August 2000. This set featured Pichu, Entei, and Charizard with reverse holofoil treatments. The Eevee, Espeon, and Umbreon cards form part of a larger connected artwork, which is showcased on the back of the folder containing the set.

Neo Premium File 3, released in November 2000, included one card representing each TCG type available at the time. Celebi was the only holofoil card and marked the Trading Card Game debut of the Generation II Mythical Pokémon. Each horizontal row of three cards forms a combined illustration, and the artwork featuring Raikou, Entei, and Suicune appears on the back of the folder. Additionally, postcards depicting all three combined artworks were distributed as special inserts with Issue #11 of Pokémon Card Trainers Magazine in Japan.
